Thanks Caren,

Good to hear from you and delighted to see how far you’ve gone in your career.  I liked both your pieces (“Making New Habits and Building Willpower – It’s Not Just for Dieting” and Maintaining New Habits and Building Willpower- It’s Not Just for Dieting) –full of important good advice and specific strategies, clear, and I’m sure useful to many people.
Every good wish, and warm regards,

Dear Caren,

I am writing to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, encouragement, insight and most valuable contribution to Circle OASIS.

I have been working on developing the curriculum for circle oasis for at least two years.   I contacted professionals all over New York and went as far as Australia.  While all my resources were helpful, none of them gave to this program the knowledge and strength of skill you gave.

It is not only that you are knowledgeable and experienced in the area of cognitive and behavioral psychology, you also know about other areas of psychotherapy, you seem to have an intuitive and deep knowledge of the psyche of New York’s adolescent and middle school children and their culture — you know what works and what doesn’t work, and that is priceless.  Furthermore, you are creative, thorough and more than anything giving, professional and top of your game.

The curriculum that we developed together looks so good now.  I finally can go out with conviction and promote a program that I know will not only benefit the students I will be working with, but also their communities and the world at large.

I hope we wont lose touch, Caren.

Best
