School Consultations

Dr. Caren Baruch-Feldman uses her knowledge of schools and the special education process to assist parents in understanding and receiving the support needed for their child. Parents will be guided through the process of submitting the proper requests and documentation of a disability to the appropriate educational committee (i.e., Committee on Special Education, Section 504 Committee). Dr. Baruch-Feldman works in a collaborative way with school personnel and families so that the child gets the appropriate assistance. Dr. Baruch-Feldman is available to conduct in-school behavioral observations, attend CSE and 504 meetings, and conduct workshops. Dr. Baruch-Feldman has conducted many in-school workshops for parents, teachers, and students.

Camp Consultations

Dr. Caren Baruch-Feldman worked as the Camp Psychologist at Camp Ramah in Nyack for many years. Caren has developed a training manual and a series of workshops that can be used throughout the summer and during staff week. She is available to consult regarding training and/or mental health issues of campers and staff.
